Shark Pet cordless vacuums: compare IX141, IY143H and IZ373H

Shark IX141, IY143H and IZ373H: choose by the carton and cleaning routine

Three Shark cordless vacuums carry a Pet label, but the useful differences are the cup, named handheld tools and the exact limits on the published runtime. None should be selected from the word “Pet” alone. Start with the route through your home, then check the model suffix and included package.

IX141: a simpler tool kit and smaller published cup

The IX141 assessment covers the Blue Iris offer. Its exact product page is framed for hard floors and carpet, converts to a handheld and lists a crevice tool. The page publishes a 0.3-quart cup; a separate size comparison can matter if pet debris would otherwise cause frequent stops. Its “up to 40 minutes” claim is measured at the hand vacuum in standard mode. The page does not place a Pet Multi-Tool in this package, so treat the IX141 as the simpler choice only when its listed basic attachment is enough.

IY143H: larger cup and an included Pet Multi-Tool

The IY143H review identifies the Moonlight Blue US offer. Its page specifies FloorDetect adjusting brushroll speed as floors change, a self-cleaning brushroll and a 0.7-quart cup. The named Pet Multi-Tool and Crevice Tool are listed as included, making this the clearest package here for someone who expects to detach the vacuum for sofa or stair cleanup. Shark says the Pet tool changes from a bristled brush to an upholstery nozzle; it does not describe a powered mini brush. The replacement-battery list names IY143H as compatible with XSBT620, but the exact page does not settle the battery count in the carton.

IZ373H: a second PowerPro Pet configuration

The IZ373H assessment documents another straight-wand PowerPro configuration with FloorDetect, a named Pet Multi-Tool and a 0.8-quart cup. Shark publishes up to 50 minutes at the hand vacuum in standard mode, not as powered-floor runtime. Its exact package source names one included battery. The separate replacement compatibility page for Pet Multi-Tool 629FJ140 omits IZ373H, so the in-box tool is evidenced but its future replacement SKU is not. That caveat does not transfer to IY143H, whose listed replacement-tool compatibility is different.

Match the choice to the non-negotiable need

  • For a simple hard-floor/carpet route and crevice work, consider IX141 if its smaller published cup and exact package suffice.
  • For a Pet Multi-Tool and a 0.7-quart cup, compare IY143H; accept manual cup disposal and keep its unqualified 7.08-pound weight out of strict carry-weight matching.
  • For the largest published cup and longest hand-vac maximum among these three, IZ373H publishes 0.8 quart and 50 minutes, with one battery documented in its carton; do not turn that maximum into floorhead runtime.

All three use a removable hand-vac arrangement and conventional cup disposal rather than an automatic-emptying tower. Their LED wording should not be treated as interchangeable with a dedicated fine-dust reveal system: choose a package whose exact documentation supports the feature if the light itself is essential. These are source-based package distinctions, not comparative pickup tests. Check the current exact US page, model suffix and delivered carton before purchase.
