A useful fit for

Mixed-floor rooms and a named Power Punch bedding-tool requirement where one supplied battery and manual disposal fit the cleaning routine.

The main tradeoff

One battery, manual emptying and no confirmed dedicated fine-dust reveal; mass without accessories is not assembled carrying weight.

Your needs, this model

Does it fit your priorities?

Can the supplied A923 package cover mixed floors with manual dust compression?

The current Dual Floor Max head covers carpet and hard floors; Kompressor is manual debris compression, without an automatic emptying tower.

Is the Power Punch nozzle explicitly included in an exact model document?

The LG US A923KGMP sheet dated January 28, 2025 lists Power Punch in the box. This named tool is not borrowed from a general A9 accessory picture.

Does a single quick-release battery meet a two-battery package requirement?

No. The exact A923 sheet supplies one battery; compare A925 for a current offer explicitly supplying two.

The LG CordZero A923KGMP is a useful mixed-floor choice when you want manual dust compression, a standing charging arrangement and one floor head for carpet and hard flooring. Its single supplied battery and separately documented Power Punch nozzle make it a different package from the two-battery A925KSM, even though both carry the Kompressor name.

Start with the head and the supplied tools

The current US page names the Dual Floor Max nozzle with LED lighting. LG's model-specific US specification sheet, dated January 28, 2025, also names that floor head and lists a Power Punch nozzle, combination tool and crevice tool in the box. Those written inclusions are more useful for planning a purchase than a family picture showing every optional attachment.

For a room with a rug beside hard flooring, the mixed-surface head avoids a head change between those areas. The ordinary LED lighting is not the same as a dedicated fine-dust reveal system. If seeing fine dust with a low-angle light is the deciding feature, compare the Tineco Station 5 rather than assuming every illuminated brush gives that view.

The battery package favors shorter, planned sessions

A923's current page advertises up to 60 minutes using one battery, with the footnote excluding the Dual Floor Max nozzle. The exact specification sheet confirms one quick-release battery. That headline therefore does not promise an hour of powered floor cleaning or a spare pack waiting on the stand.

A single removable battery can fit a household that cleans a few rooms, docks the vacuum and returns later. If your routine involves finishing upstairs and immediately continuing downstairs, the second battery in the A925KSM package changes that interruption. Compare the supplied quantity before adding the cost and storage of a separate compatible battery to a single-pack offer.

Compression is a manual step before disposal

Kompressor moves collected debris within the onboard bin. The A9 guide directs the user to turn the vacuum off before operating the lever and warns against forcing it through an obstruction. You still open the bin over a suitable waste container. The charging stand does not automatically pull the debris into a larger dust container.

That routine can suit someone who wants to avoid a separate emptying station but is comfortable handling the bin. It will not satisfy a household whose main aim is to stop opening the vacuum's dust door. The Station 5 Pro is a relevant automatic-emptying alternative, with different storage and tool considerations.

The A923 sheet labels its 33.8-ounce dust figure as capacity when compressed. Do not treat it as an ordinary one-quart uncompressed bin. How tightly collected hair or fluff packs down is different from the physical empty chamber a shopper may be comparing across brands.

A floor stand still needs a suitable place

The official product photo and specification sheet show a charging stand with small-tool storage. Reserve room for its base near an outlet, leave the vacuum easy to lift off, and follow the anchoring instructions supplied with your unit. A portable stand describes the installation format; it does not mean the stick itself can safely lean against a chair between tasks.

The telescopic wand changes length for reach and storage. It does not provide a hinge for bending underneath a sofa. Likewise, handheld conversion does not make every optional upholstery nozzle part of the carton. The named Power Punch inclusion is a reason to compare A923 if that particular bedding tool matters, while checking the textile's care instructions before use.

Allow for care and confirm carrying weight

The removable cyclone and filters make maintenance practical, but use the correct cleaning method for each part. The A9 guide distinguishes washable filter components from the body and dust bin; washable filters do not mean the whole handheld can be rinsed. Allow washed parts to dry completely before reassembly.

The model sheet's 6.3-pound figure explicitly excludes accessories, so it is not a confirmed assembled carrying weight. Choose A923 for its documented head, Power Punch tool and single-battery manual-emptying routine. Choose A925 for a supplied second battery, an assessed Q3 for its explicitly documented automatic surface detection, or an automatic-emptying model when disposal is the main obstacle.
