A useful fit for

Mixed-floor dry vacuuming with two supplied batteries and automatic bagged emptying, plus a powered mop for a separate pass on permitted hard floors.

The main tradeoff

The tower needs accessible service space and bags. Mop operation turns suction off; wash and fully dry the pads and reservoir after use.

Your needs, this model

Does it fit your priorities?

Are the tower, second battery and small powered pet tool actually supplied together?

Yes. The exact US package combines automatic emptying, two quick-release batteries, Dual Floor Max, Power Mini and basic hand tools. The 200-minute maximum combines both packs without the powered floor head.

Does a supplied powered mop also mean vacuum suction runs while the pads rotate?

The mop is supplied, but suction switches off when it is attached. Vacuum dry loose debris first and change to the mop for permitted hard floors. This is not a dirty-water recovery or spill-extraction machine.

Can a supplied mop package and manual bin compression coexist with the basic charging rack requirement?

Yes. The exact tower package stores and charges the stick, and Kompressor remains a separate manual lever. An adjustable telescopic tube does not establish a bending wand or automatic floor detection.

The LG CordZero A949KTMS is a dry cordless vacuum package with a bagged automatic tower, two batteries and a separate Power Mop Pro attachment. It is attractive when you want one storage location for several cleaning jobs. The important limitation is that fitting the mop turns suction off: this is a change of task, not a floor washer that collects dirty water while mopping.

Start with the dry-floor routine

For ordinary vacuuming, the supplied Dual Floor Max head combines a carpet agitator and hard-floor soft roller. That makes it a practical arrangement for adjoining carpet and hard floors without changing the main attachment. Its LED headlight illuminates the cleaning area; it should not be confused with a dedicated dust-revealing beam or a screen that counts particles.

A telescopic wand adjusts reach, and detaching it creates a handheld setup for the supplied combination, crevice and small powered pet tools. Those are separate passes. Check the actual surface against the relevant tool instructions, especially before using the Pet Nozzle on upholstery: the US guide lists exclusions including bedding and leather sofas or cushions. A powered pet brush does not give unrestricted permission for every fabric in the house.

The tower changes disposal, not every maintenance job

Docking the vacuum transfers dry debris from its bin into the tower's disposable bag. This is useful when carrying an open dust cup to the trash is the part of vacuuming you most dislike. The station also gives the extra battery and attachments a regular home. Allow space to dock the stick, open storage and reach the bag rather than measuring only the space occupied by the visible upright cylinder.

Kompressor remains a separate manual feature on the vacuum. Switch the machine off before using the lever. A bagged station does not remove hair from brushes, clear every obstruction or dry washed filters. Budget room for maintenance as well as storage. If a tower is your only extra requirement, the A937KGMS and A931KWM provide useful comparisons without making a powered mop part of the decision.

Two batteries give a swap, not an unlimited session

Both quick-release packs are supplied. LG's maximum of 200 minutes combines two batteries in Normal mode without the Dual Floor Max head. That is a different load from pushing the powered brush through carpet or selecting more suction. Treat the second pack as another charged battery you can fit, rather than assuming the full advertised time applies to your floor setup.

The tower can charge a stored battery while the other is being used. That wording should not become a promise that both depleted packs charge together: the US operating guide describes the installed battery charging before the auxiliary one. Check the delivered instructions and allow several hours to replenish a depleted pack. A habit of returning the vacuum after shorter sessions is more dependable than expecting a brief dock to restore a long clean.

Use Power Mop Pro as a separate finishing pass

The mop uses rotating pads and a reservoir, with a spray control for appropriately diluted floor-safe detergent. Pick up dry loose debris first, change attachments, and follow both the floor's moisture limits and LG's instructions. There is no dirty-water recovery tank that makes this a spill extractor. Do not vacuum liquids with the dry suction setup.

Wet pads also change storage. Remove them promptly after use rather than leaving the appliance resting on a moisture-sensitive floor. Wash and fully dry the pads, empty and dry the reservoir, and keep damp parts away from the dry bin and tower. The US guide recommends no more than 80 minutes of continuous mop operation and requires cooling if the protective shutdown activates. Extra batteries do not cancel that thermal limit.

Choose according to the jobs you will actually repeat

A949KTMS is a strong fit for a mixed-floor home whose owner wants automatic dry-debris disposal, a second supplied battery and occasional separate damp mopping on permitted hard floors. The attachments earn their space when you will use and maintain them. Choose A941KTMP if a normal stand, one battery and manual emptying suit your routine better. Choose a dedicated wet floor cleaner if your essential job is collecting liquid and dirty water while washing; the A949's mop and dry vacuum arrangements do not perform that combined operation.
