Your needs, this model
Does it fit your priorities?
Can the stick meet a six-pound published limit?
The vacuum is listed at 5.7 pounds, without substituting shipping weight.
Explore this need in the finder →Is at least 0.8 US quart of bin capacity documented?
The nominal0.8-liter bin converts to approximately0.845 US quart.
Explore this need in the finder →Can one attached head cross mixed flooring while keeping manual emptying?
The supplied Jet Dual Brush supports the mixed-floor route; this is not a Clean Station package.
Explore this need in the finder →Samsung's Jet 85 in Misty White is a manual-empty configuration with one Jet Dual Brush and a useful spread of small attachments. The exact US model, VS20C8522TW/AA, lists a 5.7-pound vacuum and a nominal 0.8-liter bin. It fits a shopper who wants to carry a relatively modest-weight stick rather than install a larger emptying station.
The brush and tool list define this offer
The included Jet Dual Brush is the main floor attachment. The US sheet also lists an Anti-Tangle Pet Tool, crevice tool, combination tool and Flexible Tool. This is a distinct package from both the Jet 75 Pet and the newer Jet 85S Complete. Similar numbers in the model names do not guarantee the same floor heads, charging hardware or accessories.
The Flexible Tool is a jointed attachment for changing the angle of compatible above-floor tools. It is not a statement that the long floor-cleaning wand bends in the middle. It also does not establish that the crevice nozzle itself is flexible. If your main requirement is reaching underneath a low sofa while remaining more upright, inspect the Shark IP1251 bending-wand arrangement rather than treating these features as equivalent.
The pet attachment is useful to check closely if furniture hair is a major job. Match the actual tool in the box to the current model instructions and the fabric's care guidance. The name does not make it the passive Pet Multi-Tool or Wide Upholstery Tool found in particular Shark packages. A narrow powered attachment, a broad passive nozzle and an angled connector solve different problems.
Manual emptying can be an intentional choice
The 0.8-liter nominal bin converts to about 0.85 US quart. It provides more onboard collection volume than the 0.5-liter bin on Samsung's Bespoke AI Jet Lite. That may reduce interruptions for some debris loads, but the Jet 85 still requires direct emptying and normal filter care. It does not include an automatic emptying station.
A manual-empty arrangement makes sense when you already have a convenient waste-bin routine and do not want a larger appliance standing in the room. If your aim is to reduce routine handling of collected dust, compare the Jet Lite. Its station changes the end of the job, while its smaller onboard bin changes what happens during the job. Consider both parts of the routine before choosing.
Published weight and width have different uses
The complete vacuum is listed at 5.7 pounds. That keeps it below a six-pound published-stick limit, but it does not tell you exactly how the handle will balance in use. Converting to handheld removes parts and changes leverage. Someone buying mainly for stairs should consider both the full assembly and the short attachment arrangement.
The product dimensions are 9.8 inches wide, 44.5 high and 8.5 deep. These are not a separate cleaning-head measurement. For a tight furniture gap, measure the actual head and allow space to swivel it. The fact that a full-product table contains a width does not establish that every attachment will pass through an opening of that width.
Runtime is conditional, and the box has one battery
Samsung lists one removable 25.2-volt battery and a 3.5-hour charge time. Its stated Min, Mid, Max and Jet durations are 60, 30, 5 and 3 minutes. The maximum-runtime footnote uses a nonmotorized tool. It should not be used as a promise of an hour on the floor with the powered brush attached.
The removable design can make battery replacement practical, but a second battery is not listed in this box. If your route regularly needs sustained higher power, work out a charging or spare-battery plan before purchase. Buying an additional compatible battery changes both the cost and storage arrangement, so compare the full intended setup rather than only the original box.
Choose it for the right combination
The Jet 85 is a good fit for someone who wants a sub-six-pound published stick, the nominal 0.8-liter bin and this particular set of attachments while accepting manual emptying. Its digital display and five-layer filtration should not be read as a particle-count screen or an independently specified sealed-HEPA system. For a dedicated hard-floor dust light, compare the Dyson V12; for Samsung's newer two-head package, compare the Jet 85S Complete and check the exact US contents.
