A useful fit for

Consider it when a self-emptying dock and blue hard-floor dust illumination suit the routine, and its 60-day base claim is more useful than the related 45-day model.

The main tradeoff

The exact page conflicts about the small tools and leaves the weight basis, onboard cup size and battery count unclear; its runtime claim is hand-vac ECO use.

Your needs, this model

Does it fit your priorities?

Is the 60-day XL base a published capacity estimate rather than a promise about every home?

Shark describes up to 60 days of debris capacity; actual emptying frequency depends on debris and use.

No. Its 15.17-pound figure has no stated basis, so it must not satisfy a carried-stick limit.

Shark PowerDetect Reveal Pro IP3266 review: the 60-day XL base is the decision, not a longer floor-cleaning claim.

The IP3266 PowerDetect Reveal Pro pairs Shark's cordless floor cleaner with an XL auto-empty base. Shark's US page describes the base as holding up to 60 days of debris, compared with up to 45 days for the related IP3256. This difference matters if you want a larger collection interval between visits to the dock. It does not establish a guarantee that every home can wait two months, and the two listings give the same “up to 70 minutes” hand-vacuum runtime condition. Think of IP3266 as a higher-capacity base version of the Reveal routine—not as a promise of more battery life or a measured leap in pickup.

Choose 60 days only if the base capacity is useful

The station charges and empties the vacuum when docked. Returning it after each clean can make the machine easier to keep ready, while the larger sealed collection store can reduce how often you carry debris to the bin. The real interval depends on how much dust, hair and tracked-in material your household collects. A busy home may fill it sooner; a light-use home may not benefit much from paying attention to a higher day count. Either way, check the base rather than treating a maximum-capacity claim as a maintenance schedule.

The docking station is also a permanent part of your floor plan: it needs an outlet and space to park and remove the stick. The manufacturer page labels it XL, but does not provide a clear installed footprint in the information used here. Do not buy it assuming the larger capacity is physically irrelevant to a narrow hallway. If a 45-day claim already fits your routine, the IP3256 may solve the same end-of-job problem without needing the IP3266's longer advertised interval.

Reveal and PowerDetect work along the floor route

IP3266 uses a DuoClean Detect nozzle with two brushrolls, and Shark describes the system for all floor types. Floor Detect responds to carpet and hard-floor changes; Dirt Detect responds to debris; Edge Detect is listed for edges and corners; and Direction Detect is described as collecting on both the push and pull stroke. That combination is useful for a home with a connected mix of rugs, carpet and bare flooring because the main floor head does not have to be changed for each surface.

The blue Reveal illumination is specifically described for hidden dust on hard floors. It can help you see what a room's normal lighting hides on a smooth floor. It should not be interpreted as a light that makes carpet debris equally visible. The MultiFLEX wand bends for under-furniture access and can fold for storage, and the vacuum converts to a hand unit for stairs, upholstery and quick above-floor jobs. “Can reach under furniture” remains dependent on the height and shape of your furniture; measure the actual clearance instead of extrapolating it from a product image.

Do not guess which accessory arrives

The exact IP3266 US page is internally inconsistent about small tools. Its “What's Included” paragraph names a Duster Crevice Tool and Dusting Brush, while the separate “In the Box” list names a Duster Crevice Tool and Upholstery Tool. The mismatch is important if you need an upholstery attachment or dusting brush. I would not treat either disputed tool as guaranteed until the retailer confirms the box tied to the current model. The reviewed package is not positively confirmed to include a Pet Multi-Tool, miniature powered upholstery tool, flexible crevice tool or any other named tool from a neighboring Shark carton.

The published 15.17-pound weight has no stated measurement basis, and the listed overall dimensions do not say that they measure the carried stick or its outer floorhead. Those numbers therefore do not establish a strict carry limit or furniture-gap fit. The page's runtime ceiling is measured at the hand vacuum in ECO mode with a non-motorized tool; it is not powered-nozzle time. Battery count and onboard cup capacity are not provided clearly on the exact IP3266 page inspected here, so they remain open rather than being copied from IP3256 or IP3251.

Who should keep this on the shortlist?

IP3266 is most relevant when automatic emptying, a bending mixed-floor head and the blue hard-floor Reveal light are already a good match, and you specifically value a 60-day collection-capacity claim over 45 days. The trade is the same unresolved routine questions as other docked cordless machines: floor space, base care and the limits of conditional runtime. If the advertised interval is not important, compare the 45-day IP3256; if you want automatic emptying but do not require the blue Reveal light, consider the IP3251.
