A useful fit for

The PowerPro Flex Reveal Plus floor route for a household that wants a second compatible battery ready for another cleaning leg.

The main tradeoff

The second battery does not increase the 0.8-quart manual-emptying cup or change the standard tools; the manufacturer maximum uses hand-vac standard mode, and the extra battery may ship separately.

Your needs, this model

Does it fit your priorities?

Can one supplied head handle a mixed floor route with an extra battery available?

Yes. The exact bundle is the IZ382H mixed-floor machine plus a second removable battery; FloorDetect adjusts brushroll speed and the extra pack does not change the head.

Can the two-battery bundle bend beneath furniture and reveal hard-floor dust?

Yes. The bundle keeps the IZ382H MultiFLEX wand and its hard-floor-only Dirt-Reveal light.

Does the bundle supply automatic emptying as well as a spare battery?

No. The exact page lists the extra battery but no dock; the 0.8-quart cup is still manually emptied.

Shark PowerPro Flex Reveal Plus IZ382HBAT review: the same floor head with a second battery

IZ382HBAT is a package code, not a different floor vacuum from IZ382H. Shark’s US offer names the PowerPro Flex Reveal Plus IZ382H as the machine inside this bundle and lists an extra lithium-ion removable battery in the box. The stick retains its PowerFins head, MultiFLEX wand, manual dust-cup routine and two small tools. The purchase decision is whether a second compatible pack helps finish a route often enough to be worth charging and storing it.

What the extra pack changes

Shark markets up to 100 minutes of runtime for IZ382HBAT, measured at the hand vacuum in standard mode. The base IZ382H page’s corresponding single-battery maximum is up to 50 minutes under that same hand-vacuum standard-mode condition. Those are manufacturer maxima, not measured minutes for a powered cleaning head on carpet. Boost, floor-head use and the work being done change the task, so do not interpret “100” as an uninterrupted whole-home floor session. The bundle may also ship in multiple shipments; Shark explicitly warns that the extra battery can arrive separately.

The series owner guide identifies the IZ382H among models that use Shark’s XSBT600 battery pack. It describes removing the battery to charge and gives an approximate three-hour full-charge time. That is useful for planning a swap, but the exact bundle page does not establish a second charger or simultaneous charging. Start a long job with both packs charged if you need a second leg; do not assume that two discharged batteries will recharge together during a short pause.

The floor route stays the same

FloorDetect adjusts the brushroll speed as the nozzle moves over hard floor and carpet, and the PowerFins head is the one listed mixed-floor tool. Shark gives its cleaning path as 10.4 inches. The Dirt-Reveal light is a separate benefit, with an important limit in the series guide: it illuminates the path on hard floors only. It should not be used to promise visible dust on carpet. For a home with both rugs and bare floors, the point is keeping one head attached, not combining every sensing function on every surface.

The MultiFLEX wand bends for under-furniture reach and folds for storage. The hand vacuum can be detached for above-floor work. The box lists an 8-inch crevice tool and an upholstery tool; it does not list a powered miniature brush or a Pet Multi-Tool. If the second battery is meant to support many sofa or car sessions, check the attachment itself as well as the battery count. A longer schedule cannot turn an ordinary upholstery tool into a motorized one.

It does not enlarge the dust cup or empty it

The hand cup remains 0.8 quart in the exact product details. That capacity is separate from the battery count. Heavy debris or a large hairy home may still require pauses to open and empty the cup, and the package has no automatic-emptying dock. If your session tends to stop because the cup is full rather than because the battery is depleted, the second pack may not address the interruption that matters. Compare a docked Clean & Empty model such as the BU3626 for automatic disposal, while separately checking its manual-tool kit, cup and station requirements.

The control and maintenance routines also remain those of IZ382H: a power button starts and stops the unit, and a trigger supplies a temporary boost. Shark describes a self-cleaning brushroll, while the guide still instructs owners to inspect and clear it. The manual’s care details—water-only filter rinsing, complete drying before replacement and periodic filter cleaning—are relevant to the actual time between jobs. One box addition does not change any of that care.

Is the bundle the right extra?

IZ382HBAT suits people who want the PowerPro Flex Reveal Plus floor head and wand but routinely have a second cleaning leg that is poorly served by one charged pack. A split-level home, longer scheduled session or frequent quick hand-vac jobs may make a ready spare meaningful. It is less compelling when the normal route is short, the cup fills first, or a second pack would sit unused. For those households, the single-pack IZ382H preserves the same cleaner features without making a spare battery an essential part of the carton.

The manufacturer lists a 9.33-pound product weight but does not state the weighing configuration; no strict assembled-carry limit can be concluded from it, and the additional battery does not resolve that unknown. Likewise, the advertised filtration figure is a laboratory-style manufacturer claim under ASTM F1977 for particles 0.3 microns and larger, with “allergens” defined there as non-living matter. It is not a substitute for a medical recommendation or an independent room-air result.

Choose the package when the second interchangeable battery itself solves a recurring interruption. If you need automatic waste transfer, a larger carried cup, a documented assembled weight, or a specialized fabric tool, the battery bundle is the wrong way to solve that need. Verify the exact model code and two-box contents with the seller: IZ382HBAT denotes the extra-battery offer, while IZ382H alone is the one-battery base package.
