A useful fit for

A mixed-floor household that values a green-lit main head, fold-under reach, a freestanding accessory stand and a supplied powered small brush.

The main tradeoff

The 0.6-liter cup is manual to empty and modest for long debris-heavy runs. The stand is not an automatic-emptying base, and neither weight nor a whole-home runtime guarantee is established.

Your needs, this model

Does it fit your priorities?

Does one S70 floor head combine mixed-floor use with the manufacturer’s green dust light?

The US specification lists the 3DSense Pro brush for hard floors and carpet and a 150-degree green headlight. This is a manufacturer feature description, not an independent dirt-removal result.

Tineco • PURE ONE S70 • US models VS230100US (Blue Gray) and VS231300US (Orange Blue)

The PURE ONE S70 is the Tineco S-series option for a mixed-floor route when you want the brand’s 3DSense Pro floor brush, a freestanding charging-and-tool stand, and more than a basic crevice accessory. Tineco’s US pages document two finishes: Blue Gray, model VS230100US, and Orange Blue, model VS231300US. The specifications and listed contents match across those color pages, so this assessment treats them as finish variants of the same operating package—not as two different cleaning systems. The current store page shows backorder/unavailable messaging while its product record marks a variant available; verify the exact SKU and stock instead of treating either indicator as a delivery promise.

A head built around visibility and automatic adjustment

Tineco describes the S70’s 3DSense Pro Power Brush for hard floors and carpet. Its official US specification lists a 150-degree green headlight, and its manual labels a dirt-monitoring loop that shifts from blue to red with the amount of dirt detected. That loop is a changing status indicator, not a numerical particle-count screen or proof that a floor has been fully cleaned. The manufacturer also rates suction at 200 air watts. That figure belongs to Tineco’s own specification; it is not an independent pickup test and should not be compared as if every brand’s rating came from a common test procedure.

The mixed-floor brush lets a shopper consider one head across hard floor and carpet rather than assuming that a separate hard-floor roller is required. That does not make the S70 an all-surface tool: it is a dry vacuum, and the manual excludes wet surfaces and standing water. The bright beam is most useful if seeing fine dust in a room matters to you. If a visible light is only a nice-to-have, a simpler cordless with a larger cup or a cheaper storage arrangement may fit better.

The standard package is more than the floor brush

The US product page lists a 2-in-1 crevice brush, charging-and-storage stand, flexible extension hose, lint sweeper, and Mini Power Brush. That supplies a powered small tool for compatible upholstery or stairs in addition to the main powered head. Use the named attachment and its instructions for the material at hand; the presence of a powered brush is not a blanket guarantee for delicate fabric, fringe, loose weave, or every mattress cover. A hidden-area check is still sensible.

The stand is a real difference from a wall-mount-only kit: the manual shows its base, accessory-storage holder, and main-unit holder assembling into a free-standing structure. Plan a stable spot near a wall outlet and follow the assembly instructions. It stores and charges the vacuum; it does not collect the dust automatically. The onboard 0.6-liter cup is still emptied by hand, and the base is not a substitute for that carried capacity. The cup is roughly 0.63 US quart, a fairly modest bin for a long route with lots of debris.

Tineco advertises as much as 95 minutes in Eco with the crevice nozzle, 65 minutes in Eco with the main brush, and 20 minutes in Max with the main brush. These conditions matter: the longest claim is not a promise of 95 minutes of powered carpet cleaning. A whole-home plan should account for the actual floor head, chosen mode, furniture work and interruptions, rather than using the largest headline alone.

Reach and ownership trade-offs

The S70 is marketed with a foldable tube for reaching below furniture. That can reduce some bending, but the hinge does not shrink the floor head or guarantee that the assembly will clear a particular sofa. Measure the opening and test the approach angle before making this feature essential. The manual also shows three suction modes—Eco, Auto and Max—with a button controlling operation; the default start is Auto. Dustbin emptying is manual: press the release only when disposing of dirt, close the flap fully, and avoid treating a charging stand as a self-emptying dock.

For routine care, Tineco says to clean the bin and filters after use, rinse the mesh and HEPA elements as directed, and let washed parts dry completely before reinstalling. The manual gives a six-month washing interval and a 24-month replacement interval for the filter and HEPA, while the brush roller is removed for separate cleaning. Do not soak or wash the electrically powered head. This is a maintenance routine, not a maintenance-free machine.

The US manual lists 21.6 volts, 500 watts rated power and a 0.6-liter bin. The store’s generic item-weight field does not establish a reliable assembled-stick carrying measurement, so this review does not use it to meet a hard weight limit. It also does not assume that the image proves every optional extra pictured in a retailer bundle; the specific US contents list, not an accessory collage, is the package bridge.

Which alternative is the better fit?

Choose the S70 when its wider-angle green light, freestanding accessory stand, folding reach and listed Mini Power Brush each solve a real task. The PURE ONE S50 Pro is a close comparison: it is also a foldable, mixed-floor cordless with a powered mini brush and a 0.6-liter bin, but its US page lists a 120-degree green light and a compact charging dock rather than the S70’s fuller freestanding tool-storage package. Consider the A50S if a nominal one-liter cup matters more and you can live with wall-mounted charging and no confirmed Mini Power Brush in the exact package. The folding-head comparison separates those choices by floor route, tool kit and end-of-job routine.
