Shark PowerPro Pet or Flex Reveal Plus? Compare the exact packages

Shark PowerPro Pet versus PowerPro Flex Reveal Plus: compare the wand, light and actual carton

The Shark PowerPro names can sound like finish variations, but the current IZ373H Pet and IZ382H Flex Reveal Plus packages differ in how they reach under furniture, what light they use, and which small tools are listed in the box. The IZ382HBAT adds a package difference—a second battery—without turning into a new floorhead design. Start with your route and the needed accessories, not a shared series name.

IZ373H: straight wand with a named Pet Multi-Tool

The IZ373H page identifies a straight wand, one battery, a 0.8-quart cup and a crevice tool plus Pet Multi-Tool. FloorDetect adjusts brushroll speed as the surface changes, and Shark says the head can run across surfaces without a nozzle swap. Its LED headlights are described as helping spot dust and small debris in dark areas. The listed 50-minute maximum is measured at the hand vacuum in standard mode, not a powered-floor runtime. Shark’s current detail page showed a back-in-stock prompt at our check.

Choose the Pet package when that named small tool belongs in your regular above-floor routine. Do not convert “Pet Multi-Tool” into a claim for a powered upholstery brush; the box list does not name a motorized mini tool. A separate Shark accessory page calls model 629FJ140 a convertible bristle/upholstery tool but omits IZ373H from compatibility. The exact pack listing and the replacement list do not line up, so confirm the SKU if you need to buy the attachment later.

IZ382H: Flex Reveal Plus adds a bending wand and Dirt-Reveal

The exact IZ382H page and Shark-authored IZ370/IZ380 guide support its MultiFLEX wand and Dirt-Reveal lighting. The guide restricts Dirt-Reveal to hard floors; that does not mean the shared PowerFins floorhead cannot cross carpet, but it does mean the Dirt-Reveal claim should not be extended to carpet. The IZ382H box lists the normal crevice and upholstery tools, not the Pet Multi-Tool from the IZ373H listing. If a bendable wand for under-furniture reach or that named light is essential, this is the clearer package to compare. The same 0.8-quart cup still requires manual emptying.

IZ382HBAT: same family, two supplied packs

IZ382HBAT retains the Flex Reveal Plus base vacuum and the same kind of floorhead/clearance question, but its exact package lists an additional battery. That can let an owner schedule a second charged pack for a later session; it does not enlarge the dust cup or promise uninterrupted powered-floor cleaning while a pack is changed. Read the exact carton rather than importing its second-pack headline into the one-battery IZ382H or IZ373H.

Make the choice by essential task

For mixed hard floors and carpet, all three can be considered from their documented PowerFins/FloorDetect or Flex Reveal Plus floorhead claims. If under-furniture reach is the essential need, the documented Flex wand points toward IZ382H or IZ382HBAT rather than the straight-wand IZ373H. If a special hard-floor dirt-revealing light is essential, the series guide points to IZ382H/IZ380H and limits the light to hard floors; IZ373H’s ordinary LED-headlight wording is different. If the included Pet Multi-Tool matters, the exact IZ373H box is the stronger fit, subject to the unresolved separate-accessory SKU mismatch. If the job routinely outlasts one battery, inspect the IZ382HBAT carton, and plan for manual cup emptying on both Flex Reveal Plus packages.

These choices use published package descriptions, not an independent comparison test. Verify the exact model suffix, seller carton and current availability before buying; the Shark page showed a restock notice for IZ373H on the checked date.
